Esha's Story
Esha Washington
Leukemia Tufts New England Medical Center
Three years ago Esha suffered from a rare and
often fatal form of leukemia. Her treatment
included chemotherapy and a bone marrow
transplant. The blood products she received
during her 18 months of treatment enabled
her to survive.
“You don’t have to be superman to
give blood; yet, when you give blood,
you do a supernatural thing.”
Esha treasures time spent with her two daughters - Adrianna, age 11, and Kristena, age 13. Leukemia nearly took her life.
“If the blood wasn’t there
for me, I wouldn’t be
there for my ch i l d r e n .”
Red Cross blood donors help patients just like Esha in cities and towns throughout New England and across the United States. Please….give blood. Together, we can save a life.
