Matt's Story
Matthew Trapeni
Ski Accident
Nearly three years ago Mary Beth Trapeni got the phone call every parent fears. Her eldest son had been injured in a skiing accident. Matthew was losing massive amounts of blood and in danger of losing his right kidney after severing his renal vein. Fortunately, Matthew was able to receive the blood he needed to survive and make a full recovery.
It took 40 different individuals to donate blood in order to save Matthew's life." - Mary Beth Trapeni, Matthew's mom.
Red Cross blood donors help patients just like Matt in cities and towns throughout New England and across the United States. Please….give blood.
Together, we can save a life.
