Needing blood was the last thing on Ellen's mind as she finished up her work before leaving on vacation. All that changed in an instant when Ellen unexpectedly collapsed. Tests showed that she had a bleeding ulcer that required an emergency procedure and a blood transfusion. Active and healthy, Ellen is thankful for the generosity of those who give blood.
