Meet Bill, Megan and baby Lillian DeKing! After an emergency C-setion to deliver baby Lillian, Megan began hemorrhaging, losing a major amount of blood as hospital staff worked tirelessly to stop the bleeding.

In total, Megan required 29 units of blood in order to recover. Thanks to Red Cross blood donors, the blood products Megan needed were readily available.

As you can see, little Lillian is also doing just fine!
