Pint For A Pizza
The American Red Cross Blood Services – Massachusetts Region and Uno Chicago Grill are joining together in a campaign to help patients in need by increasing the blood supply and raising awareness about the ongoing need for blood donors. The Pint for a Pizza campaign will run throughout the month of May, which is the start of the summer season when blood donations are often low.

New Appointment System Launched In Massachusetts
A new, improved appointment system was launched at blood drives across Massachusetts on March 31. The new system will initially be made available at Red Cross donor centers and regularly scheduled mobiles, and will be rolled out to bloodmobiles in the near future. More Information....

Team Hope Helps Kids And Blood Donations
A small group of families of kids with Primary Immunodeficiency Disease have been working hard to encourage blood donations as well as to provide support for those afflicted with this rare condition.
According to Stefani Bush, one of the founders of Team Hope, "At some point you realize it's not just about us. We need to look at the greater picture. These kids' lives depend on volunteer blood donors." Find Out More about Team Hope and upcoming Team Hope blood drives.

The American Red Cross is dedicated to providing life saving blood services to patients in need. Local Blood Drives are vital to supporting our regions blood supply and volunteers are vital to our Blood Drives. Volunteers are needed to register donors and to attend to donors at our canteens where beverages and snacks are provided. Volunteers are essential to our donors experience with the Red Cross, which keeps them coming back to donate!
