Honda North of Danvers has teamed up with the American Red Cross to help prevent blood shortages during the challenging summer months! Starting June 18th until September 6th, 2008, all presenting donors in ESSEX County can enter for a chance to win a 2-year car lease on a brand new Honda Civic! Join the ranks of last year’s winner, frequent donor and Danvers resident, Nancy Libby!

*The Honda North of Danvers two-year car lease is non-transferable and may solely be claimed by the winner, unless the winner is under the age of 18. State law prohibits minors from leasing motor vehicles. If the raffle winner is under 18, the vehicle lease will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian. The winner of the vehicle lease: (a) is responsible for all expenses associated with the lease and the vehicle, including without limitation, taxes, insurance, excess mileage, vehicle damage, wear and tear and other expenses set forth in the lease between the winner and the dealership, and (b) is required to sign a Red Cross hold harmless agreement and a vehicle lease. Winners will be notified shortly after the drawing on September 10th, 2008. If the original winner forfeits the prize, a second winner will be selected.

Celebrate Danvers Family Festival in the Donor Center
Join the American Red Cross and Danvers Fire Fighters on Tuesday June 24th between 12:00pm and 7:00pm to celebrate the community of Danvers! Donate blood, enjoy refreshments, say thanks to your local fire fighters, meet some of the Danvers Family Festival committee and enter for a chance to win a $100 gas card or Red Sox tickets!

Give Blood, Get Chocolate in July!
All presenting donors during the month of July will receive a coupon good for one free box of 6 chocolate dipped strawberries at Edible Arrangements!

Join us in celebrating Independence Day on July 1st, 3rd and 5th
One unfortunate 4th of July “tradition” that you can help prevent is blood shortages! Each day they have to collect 2000 units of blood to meet the needs of patients across New England who rely on volunteer blood donors to stay alive. All presenting donors this week will receive a free Red Sox Blood Donor T-shirt for their efforts! End a tradition that endangers lives – please give blood!
