The American Red Cross thanks Honda North....a GREAT blood drive sponsor!

Honda North most recently sponsored a wonderful day at the North Shore Red Cross Donor Center in Danvers. Blood donors and volunteers had a fun day, with plenty of games and prizes.

Before giving blood, potential donors had the opportunity to spin a Prize Wheel to determine the number of shots they were eligible to take in tossing a NERF basketball into the net. If they successfully made a shot, they got to pick a prize from the Prize Box! If not, consolation prizes were also awarded. One spot on the Prize Wheel was reserved for the grand prize - a gift certificate donated by Honda North. The games were developed to coincide with March Madness.

All the fun resulted in a total of 100 whole blood products and 20 platelet products.

Honda North is a terrific blood drive sponsor. The dealership runs two blood drives a year at the North Shore Donor Center. Last summer, Honda North also sponsored a two year car lease for a lucky winner in Essex County. Honda North does a great job promoting giving blood to their customers and employees and provides a giveaway bag for all presenting donors. This time, every donor got a water bottle, a coupon for a free car wash and a golf/gym towel - all with the March Madness theme.
