Thank you, Gray Watson!

Meet Gray Watson! Gray is one of our dedicated apheresis donors. As a donor, he knows what it's like to spend an hour or so in the Dedham apheresis room, giving platelets.

It turns out Gray is generous with more than just his time and his platelets. He's also purchasing and donating seven TV/VCR combos to the Dedham apheresis donor room! With the addition of this electronic equipment, donors can watch a video of their choice on their own personal TV/VCR unit while making their donations which, unlike whole blood, typically take over an hour.

Gray got the idea from the apheresis program in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
