Friendly's Ice Cream and the American Red Cross team up for a sweet summer! Make It A Sweet Summer For Patients In Need
The American Red Cross and Friendly’s Ice Cream are making the summer a little sweeter for blood donors. Come in to donate blood at a Red Cross blood drive in July or August and receive a coupon for a free carton of ice cream, redeemable at participating Friendly’s restaurants.

The blood supply can dip to low levels during the summer months, so the Red Cross and Friendly’s encourage you to roll up your sleeve to ensure blood is always available. Please call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to make an appointment to give the Gift of Life and receive a sweet reward courtesy of Friendly’s.

Volunteers Needed At The Burlington Donor Center
People with a positive attitude and a friendly face are needed to help us welcome and care for our wonderful blood donors.
The following volunteer positions are currently available:

Registration:
Welcomes donors to the donor center, distributes registration form and required reading, organizes the day's donor schedule and lets visitors know of current promotions at the center.

Canteen:
Greets donors and serves them refreshments, makes sure donors are feeling fine after donation, visits with donors, prepares and maintains refreshment area, provides donors with recognition items. Volunteering with us is fun and easy! Hours are flexible and volunteers usually work two hour segments.
