Vermonters Honored At Fenway Park
The Boston Red Sox, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and the American Red Cross have teamed up to honor blood donors - those every day heroes who help save lives - all summer long.
Everyone who comes to donate blood at an American Red Cross donor center or blood drive in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont or Connecticut between March 14 and September 16, 2005 may enter for a chance to win the honor of being the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Boston Red Sox/American Red Cross Blood Donor of the Game at a Red Sox home game this season.
Winners receive a pair of tickets, recognition at the game, his or her name up in lights and a special commemorative souvenir.
The following Vermonters have won the opportunity to be recognized for giving of themselves for patients in need:
 | Tyler Dillon, South Burlington - Donated in the Burlington Blood Centerand won tickets for April 16 against Tampa Bay |
- Cynthia Corkins, Bristol - Donated in the Burlington Blood Center on 3/31/05 and won tickets for May 21 against Atlanta
- Andrew Hathaway, Montgomery Center - Donated in the Burlington Blood Center on 4/21/05 and wone tickets for June 5 against Anaheim
